This is a 2026 May update. Every visit is a good experience in finding high quality organic foods. Sometimes, the experience is topped off with great conversations with fellow shoppers, or store employees. Saturday (May 16, 2026) was one such experience. We didnt miss the boisterousness or raucous laughter that sometimes marred an overall great grocery shopping experience that we enjoyed over 10 years. I never thought that grocery shopping could be an enjoyable experience until I discovered the East -End Food Coop. Living within walking distance of the store must be idyllic and I envy those who have that benefit, but I don't mind the 1 hr drive from Beaver County. Kudos to the employees and management.

The store is amazing, if youβre looking for anything branded organic or not big-chain. They have a ton of variety! The only bummer is that itβs even less affordable than the big grocery stores. Itβs not their fault, but itβs a shame that eating healthier is reserved for people with more money in their budgets.

This place changed the way I view food and nutrition. At first I thought it was overpriced, coming from shopping at Aldi. But you can taste the difference in almost everything. Try a roasted whole chicken side by side with one from Giant Eagle. Try a red bell pepper. Try any of the organic products and you'll notice. I've been feeling much better physically since getting groceries here, and I think its the nutrition from real good food. The premade food is so good. The kombucha is tasty. The fresh bread is amazing. The local fruit is very cool. They had pawpaws that were so good. You can't find that anywhere else. My only complaints: Parking lot and hill leading down SUCK. Aisles are too small and too crowded. I know they are hoping to expand or relocate at some point. But brother, half the time I don't even bother with the tea aisle.

I love this place, but I came here specifically to applaud their cheese collection: I had the best truffle Brie I've had in my life. Freshhhh vegetables and fruit. Feels like a better (and more ethical) Whole Foods. Great for a quick stop but you could also do your full grocery trip here.
